It affects the number of WeCom Contacts users, company abbreviations, custom launch pages, red packet covers, customers you can add, and external contacts you can invite to groups (up to 100 people) as well as the access to WeCom API. You can refer to the feature comparison in Section II.
Note: The basic features such as Attendance, Approvals, Reports, WeDrive, and Docs are not affected. You can choose to get verified based on your company’s needs.
The WeCom verification service fees include the review fee and the company member size fee, as detailed below:
(1) Verification review fee
The review for WeCom verification is conducted by a third-party auditing company, which verifies the authenticity of the materials submitted by a company. For each verification application, a third party must be commissioned to provide review services, which incurs a review service fee. Therefore, this fee is non-refundable, regardless of the review result.
● For entities classified as “corporations, public institutions, social organizations, private non-enterprise organizations, or for-profit organizations”, the review fee is RMB 300 per application.
(2) Company member size fee
WeCom charges fees based on the size of the company members approved through the verification review. Within the size purchased, members can use WeCom services centered around basic communication functions. For medium and large companies, the WeCom team will verify the size of the company members through phone follow-ups, credit checks, and visits by dedicated business personnel. The company member size fee will be charged according to the following standards. If the verification review is unsuccessful, it will be refunded.
● For medium-sized companies (1,000 < member size ≤ 10,000), the fee is RMB 2,700 per application.
● For large companies (member size > 10,000), the fee is RMB 29,700 per application.
(3) Special support for non-enterprise organizations
To facilitate the development of digital government affairs and social welfare organizations, a simplified review process is offered for entities classified as government, public institutions, or other organizations, with partial fees waived:
● For entities classified as “government & non-profit organizations”, both the verification review fee and company member scale fee can be waived.
● For entities classified as “public institutions & social organizations, private non-enterprise organizations, or for-profit organizations”, the company member scale fee can be waived.
WeCom verification is valid for one year. You need to initiate an annual review before the verification expires. For details, please refer to Section III. “Validity period of the verification” in Verification Fees and Annual Verification.
If the documents you submitted do not meet the requirements, you will receive a notification in WeCom indicating the specific reasons for resubmission and a link to “Modify/Supplement Info”. Super admins can go to “Admin Console” -> “My Company” -> “WeCom Verification” -> “Verification Order” -> “Order Details” to find the “Modify Info” option.
If you have any questions regarding information supplementation or if your verification is still under review and you need to modify or provide additional information, you can find the contact information of the auditing company in the “Order Details” section and communicate with the reviewer.
If WeCom verification fails (e.g. qualification review failure or name review failure), you will not be able to resubmit the verification information and will need to submit a new application and pay the verification fee again.
Please refer to “Verification Instructions“.
Thank you for choosing the WeCom verification service. We understand your concern regarding verification fees, and we would like to clarify the relevant details here:
The WeCom verification review is strictly conducted by professional third-party auditing agencies, who will perform detailed authenticity verification on every piece of documentation submitted by the enterprise. Due to the fact that each authentication request requires the investment of professional personnel to conduct verification, corresponding review service costs are incurred regardless of whether the request is approved or not. These fees indeed cannot be refunded; We appreciate your understanding.
Regarding fees based on enterprise member size, charges are determined according to the actual size verified through verification. For medium and large-sized enterprises, verification will be conducted through methods such as telephone follow-up calls and credit checks. If the verification fails, fees related to enterprise member size will be refunded. Within the size scope of your company purchased, members can use WeCom services with basic communication features as the core.
Additionally, we recommend that you carefully verify the completeness and accuracy of the submitted materials and thoroughly review the instructions in the WeCom Verification Service Agreement before making payment.
