Emergency Notification
[TOC]

I. Overview

Emergency Notification sends emergency event reminders in real time by using auto voice broadcasting in app messages. Members can respond quickly to reminder events after receiving a reminder via voice broadcasting. The hospital can use the Emergency Notification features in scenarios such as critical value reminders, important meetings, and emergency plans.

II. Scenarios

Applicable to emergency notifications in hospitals such as critical value push, MDT, and doctor-patient conflicts.

III. How to use Emergency Notification

1. Enable/Disable Emergency Notification

Admins can log in to the admin console and go to “App Management” -> “Apps” -> “Emergency Notification” to enable the app. Admins can set members who can send emergency notifications and the recipients. Admins can also view and export the call history with emergency notifications.

2. How do send emergency notifications

Notifications can be sent in the WeCom app or in WeCom for Windows. Members can be reminded by phone to view the notifications in time. After sending, you can always follow the reading status of emergency notifications and remind members who have not read the notifications.

3. Call API to send emergency notifications

Companies can call the API to make a voice call for custom apps. Go to “Emergency Notification” -> “API” -> “View API Documentation” in the admin console for more information.
You can send emergency notifications to unlimited number of recipients in a call.

IV. Account balance of Emergency Notification

Both Company-Paid Call and Emergency Notification will consume your balance (in minutes).
(They share the same account balance. The billing method and top-up method of Emergency Notification are the same as those of Company-Paid Call.)
If multiple members are notified in a call, the duration will not be deducted for those who do not answer.

V. Limits for Emergency Notification

1. A notification can be sent to up to 1,000 recipients at one time. A company member can receive a maximum of 50 emergency notifications per day (including repeated notifications).
2. API call limit: 8 calls in 24 hours (Missed calls will also be counted). WeCom notification limit: Unlimited.

VII. Emergency notification calls

1. If members do not hang up after answering the call, the call will be automatically ended after the notification is repeated three times.
2. Even if the account balance is insufficient, the notification can still be given. Account arrears will not affect the notifications in progress. For example, if only 1 minute is left in your account balance, you can still send notification to 10 recipients. However, if the balance is 0, no messages or calls can be delivered.
