I. Notes to “ITAI Email”

1.Fully compatible with domestically produced mainstream CPUs, operating systems, databases, middleware, and other products, providing enterprises with a privacy compliant, stable, and reliable email operating environment.

2.WeCom Email has earned third-party authoritative certification and established product compatibility mutual certification with leading domestic providers of chips, operating systems, and databases, fully aligning with IT Application Innovation (ITAI) standards.

3.When enabled, the emails of all members in the enterprise will be automatically migrated to an environment compatible with ITAI.

II. Conditions for Enabling “ITAI Email”

1.To enable “ITAI Email”, the email accounts of all members in the enterprise must be assigned with advanced email features.

III. Notice for Enabling “ITAI Email”

1.When the “ITAI Email” enabled, all member emails will be migrated to an environment built on domestically produced infrastructure to comply with enterprise’s ITAI compliance requirements.
2.Effective scope of “ITAI Email”: all members’ emails under the enterprise
3.Members who use the “Email” feature of WeCom will automatically log into the “ITAI Email” without any additional operation after enabling it.
4.Members using the “Email Web Version” will be logged out and need to log into their emails again.
5.Members using the “Third-party Client-side” will be logged out and need to modify their IMAP/POP configuration info when logging into their emails again.
6.When “ITAI Email” is enabled, the “Webmail” interface is locked to Chinese. English localization is not supported.

IV. How to Enable/Disable “ITAI Email” in WeCom Email

WeCom account creators/super administrators log into [Admin Console of WeCom -> Collaboration -> ITAI Email] to enable/disable “ITAI Email”.
Note: The “App Owner” of email does not have permission to manage “ITAI Email”.

V. “ITAI Email” Client-Side Configuration Parameters

POP3/SMTP protocol
Incoming mail server: xcpop.exmail.qq.com; use SSL, port No. 995
Outgoing mail server: xcsmtp.exmail.qq.com, use SSL, port No. 465

IMAP/SMTP protocol
Incoming mail server: xcimap.exmail.qq.com; use SSL, port No.993
Outgoing mail server: xcsmtp.exmail.qq.com; use SSL, port No. 465
Email address: Complete email address of business email
Password: Business email password; If the email has enabled secure login, you need to obtain the client-side authorization code from [Logging into Email via the Web Client -> Settings -> Email Binding].
Additionally, the client-side service agreement needs to be enabled in [Web Client Settings -> Send/Receive Mail Settings].

Friendly Reminder: After enabling the XinChuang email service, the client does not support configuring the Exchange protocol.

VI. Notice for Disabling “ITAI Email”

1.When disabled, all members’ emails will no longer run in the ITAI environment.
2.Members who use the “Email” feature of WeCom will automatically log into their emails without any additional operation after enabling it.
3.Members using the “Email Web Version” will be logged out and need to log into their emails again.
4.Members using the “Third-party Client-side” will be logged out and need to modify their IMAP/POP configuration info when logging into their emails again.

VII. FAQs

1.Is there an additional charge to enable the “ITAI Email”?

Enabling “ITAI Email” does not incur extra fees. However, you must purchase the advanced email features and assign advanced feature accounts to all members in the enterprise Contacts who have been allocated a business email account.
Note: Member accounts without assigned own domains, members with own domain email disabled, and public mailboxes are excluded from the count.

2.How long does it take to enable the ITAI Email?

Enabling “ITAI Email” typically takes a few minutes to complete.

3.What happens if new members added to Contacts after enabling the ITAI Email are not assigned with the advanced features?

After enabling “ITAI Email”, if any members are not assigned with advanced email features, “ITAI Email” will become unavailable. Simultaneously, a remind will appear on WeCom’s [Admin Console -> Homepage]: “Some members lack the advanced email features, rendering ITAI Email unusable. Please assign the features promptly. “If no assignment of “ITAI Email” is made for all members within 7 days, “ITAI Email” will be automatically disabled.
