Company Pay Overview
[TOC]

I. What is Enterprise Payment

WeCom provides Company Pay in partnership with WeChat Pay. Companies link the existing WeChat Pay merchant account to use the payment feature in WeCom, including Pay External User and WeCom-specific features: Receive Money from Employee and Pay Employee.
WeCom also provides development-free apps such as Receipt via QR Code and Send Red Packet to Employee.

II. Conditions for using Enterprise Payment

1. Enterprises need to be verified to activate Enterprise Payment and associate merchant IDs.

2. To activate the Enterprise Payment function, enterprises need to create a merchant ID or associate an existing merchant ID.

3. After applying for a merchant ID, the corresponding merchant ID needs to have WeChat Pay activated for more than 90 days, and have conducted transactions for 30 consecutive days.
(1) Both condition must be met to use the Enterprise Payment function normally.
(2) This condition also applies to activating payment to external. (The “Pay to employees” function does not support new additions, but the merchants who have already activated the function will not be affected.)
(3) Pay to internal via WeCom Pay, assign red packet to employees, apps, and APIs are also subject to this restriction.
(4) There is no such restriction on payment collection.
(5) 30 consecutive days of transactions: It refers to use the merchant ID to conduct transactions through the merchant platform’s functions. Any transaction behavior counts, and it does not support using the same account to make payment to this merchant ID. The merchant ID needs to be used normally for transactions and does not support deliberately brush payment records with the account.

4. The WeChat account that uses Enterprise Payment to associate WeCom requires a real-name verification, but there is not such requirement for the WeCom account corresponding to the Enterprise Payment.
