I. How to Broadcast Messages

Admins can go to “Admin Console” -> “Security and Management” -> “Management Tool” ->”Message Broadcast” in the Admin Console, and select Notice or a custom or third-party app to send messages to company members. Admins can also view the message history and asset library.

II. Message Sending Frequency for Apps

1. Announcements, custom apps, Mini Programs, and third-party apps cannot exceed the account limit * 200 message recipients per day.
Notes:
(1) If the API is called once to send to 1,000 people, it counts as 1,000 message recipients. If the company account limit is 500 people, each app can send up to 100,000 message recipients per day.
(2) If the company is not verified or the verification has expired, the company user limit will be changed to 1000 people. In this case, the message recipient limit is the company user limit multiplied by 200 per day.

2. Each app cannot send more than 30 messages per minute to the same member, and anything exceeding this will be discarded and not sent. Message sending frequency is not included in the basic frequency limit.

III. Message Types and Limits for Apps

1. Text: Up to 600 characters; 1,000 text messages at most;
2. Image: gif, jpeg, jpg, png, and bmp formats; single image up to 5 MB; 1,000 image messages at most (svg not supported);
3. Voice: mp3, wma, wav, and amr formats; no larger than 5 MB; audio duration no more than 1 minutes; 1,000 voice messages at most;
4. File: All formats except cab, lzh, lzma, exe, scr, html, url, bin, vbs, asp, jsp, php, aspx, mht, eml, jar, bat, com, and cmd; up to 20 MB; 1,000 file messages at most;
5. Video: rmvb, wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg, mp4, and rm formats; up to 20 MB; 1,000 video messages at most;
6. Article: Up to 5,000 article messages; no limit on the content of the body;
7. Watermark-supported file formats: txt, pdf, doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls, xlsx, xml, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, gif, and mp4.
