To apply for WeCom verification, you need to provide valid documents including the qualification document, business account or verification via face recognition of the legal representative, and Organization Member Size Verification Application Letter. Different documents are required for different types of organizations. You must provide the corresponding documents based on your organization type.

I. Organization types and required documents

Note:
The entity type does not include “sole proprietor”. If you are a sole proprietor, you can select “Company” as your entity type.
For sole proprietors, the legal representative needs to initiate a verification as the business operator. “Operator Info” can be modified as follows:
1. Invite the legal representative to join the company to be verified, and set the legal representative as the super admin.
2. If there is no full name on the sole proprietor’s business license (displayed as blank or asterisk * ), fill in “Sole proprietor + Name” in the “Company Full Name” column, such as “Sole proprietor Zhang San”, and choose face recognition of the legal representative for verification.

II. Verify without a business account

Company: If you do not have a business account, the legal representative of your company can perform face recognition to verify your company; or you can use the electronic business license to verify your company.

Government agencies, public institutions, and other organizations: During verification, if there is no public bank account, the reviewing company will contact the organization, its superior unit, or the relevant local government department via publicly available phone numbers for verification.

III. Company Size Verification and supporting documents

The requirements for the Company Size Verification document and supporting documents are different for different entity types and sizes.

For the Company entity type:
a. The Company Size Verification document and supporting documents are optional for small-sized companies.
b. The Company Size Verification document and supporting documents are required for medium- and large-sized companies. The supporting documents must provide proof of your company’s size. The documents can be in any form, such as copies of the store business license, store photos, production workshop size, social security payment record, social security bureau certificate, and tax payment details. The supporting documents must be affixed with the official seal of the company.

For the Government, Public institution, and Other organizations entity types:
The Company Size Verification document and supporting documents are required for small-, medium-, and large-sized organizations. The supporting documents must provide proof of your organization’s size. The documents can be in any form, such as copies of the site scale certificate, social security payment record, social security bureau certificate, and tax payment details. The supporting documents must be affixed with the official seal of the organization.

1.For the required business license materials, are copies accepted?
Color copies are acceptable. Black-and-white copies must be separately affixed with the official seal and signed by an authorized representative.
