If you have resigned or joined a different company, you need to leave the company you joined on WeCom. Tap the “三” button in the upper-left corner of the Chats page ->
the “Settings” icon in the lower-right corner -> “Manage Company Identity”, select the company you want to quit, and then tap “Quit Company”.
Note: After you leave a company, if the admin does not invite you to join the company again or you have been invited but never logged in to the company within 30 days, your account will be automatically deleted and cannot be recovered.
Admins can log in to the admin console and delete the members selected on the “Contacts” tab.
Tips:
1. When a member is deleted, all his/her information and logs will be cleared and irretrievable, and he/she will automatically exit the WeCom all-staff group. Generally, members who are deleted from the Contacts are referred to as “Terminated members”.
2. The deleted member account cannot be restored (the member’s WeCom message records will be completely cleared upon deletion); If the enterprise has enrolled in the “Data Security Program” previously, it can contact the Data Services Team for consultation. For details, please refer to the “Data Security Program“ function description.
On the admin console, click “My Company” -> “Setting” -> “Delete Company”.
On the WeCom app, tap the button on the top left of the message page, and then tap the settings icon in the lower right corner. On the “Manage Company” tab, select the company you want to delete, and then tap “Delete Company”.
Note: Deleted companies cannot be recovered, except those participating in the Data Security Program. Their records and data may be recovered. See “Overview of the Data Security Program”.
This is because of a system upgrade, during which company deletion is not allowed. If there are members who no longer need to use WeCom, admins can log in to the Admin Console, navigate to the Contacts, and click the members to disable them. Once disabled, the members will no longer be able to log in to WeCom.
If you still want to delete the company, you can: follow the WeCom official account on WeChat, and go to “Find Us” -> “Contact Customer Service”; or use the “My Customer Service” feature within WeCom to consult with customer service regarding the deletion.
If it has been less than 30 days since a member voluntarily left the company and their account has not been deleted, the admin can go to the Admin Console and navigate to the Contacts to view the members who have left the company, and then click “Reinvite to Join”. After the admin sends the invitation, the member can use their linked phone number or authorize WeChat login to rejoin the company.
Blocked members are only restricted from logging into the current enterprise. If they log into other enterprises via the same WeCom account, they can view the blocked enterprise in the mobile app by clicking [“≡” icon in the upper left in the Messages page -> Settings -> Manage Enterprises], and voluntarily choose to withdraw from it.
