I. About Data Zone Enterprise Documents
(Also known as: Data Zone Document Archiving)
After enterprise authorization, applications can obtain document analysis results within the scope of member authorization through APIs.
Without the need for downloading or importing, documents can be directly connected to model analysis, suitable for scenarios such as enterprise knowledge Q&A, document retrieval, and content summarization.

II. How to Enable Data Zone Enterprise Documents
Currently, this feature isonly available in grayscale rollout (limited beta).
Enterprises that have been granted access can navigate to: WeCom Admin Console -> Security & Management -> Management Tools -> Data & Intelligence Zone -> Enterprise Documents to use this feature.
III. How to Use Data Zone Enterprise Documents
- The administrator enables “Enterprise Documents” within the Data Zone.
- The administrator configures the members whose data falls within the “Archived Data” scope: The administrator selects and configures the members within the “Archived Data” scope. All public documents belonging to these members (documents with more than 1 member having access) will be included in the document archiving scope. (Note: Online documents of members within the configured scope will not be stored in the Data Zone channel as a result of using this service. If a member within the configured scope deletes their online documents, this service will no longer be able to analyze or access the deleted online documents of those members.)
- The administrator deploys models/programs within the Data Zone.
- After the administrator configures the members within the “Archived Data” scope, the system will automatically notify the corresponding members that all their public documents will be used within the Data Zone.
- The enterprise calls the Data Zone document APIs through self-built applications or third-party applications to leverage the Data Zone capabilities.
IV. How Members Can Manage Their Documents
After the administrator enables document archiving for members, members will receive a notification from “Enterprise Data Archiving”.

If a member does not want their documents to be archived, they can delete the documents or restrict the document viewer count to fewer than 1 person.
