Prerequisite

Please ensure that OpenClaw is installed on your device.

I. Install the WeCom OpenClaw Plugin

1. Open the terminal and enter the following command to install the WeCom plugin:
npx -y @wecom/wecom-openclaw-cli install

2. A success prompt will appear as shown in the figure

3. Restart OpenClaw
openclaw gateway start

II. Update the WeCom OpenClaw Plugin

1. Open the terminal and enter the following command to update the WeCom plugin:
npx -y @wecom/wecom-openclaw-cli install

III. Configure OpenClaw

1. In the terminal, enter the following command to add a channel:
openclaw channels add

2. A command-line configuration wizard will appear. Use the arrow keys to switch options, the spacebar to select, and Enter to confirm. Select “Yes”

3. In the “Select Channel” step, select “WeCom” for the channel

4. Enter the WeCom Bot ID and Secret

5. Select “Finish”

6. Choose to complete pairing first, select “Yes”

7. Select the pairing method, choose “Pairing”

8. Complete the subsequent configuration

9. It can be seen that the channel configuration has been successful

10. In WeCom, save the robot and send it a message. You will receive a configuration key

11. Copy this information and enter it into the terminal

12. Pairing successful

13. You can now chat normally in WeCom
