To facilitate rapid creation and usage of Smart Robots for integrating OpenClaw, WeCom has recently launched the “Long Connection” mode for Smart Robots.
This mode utilizes locally deployed WeCom plugins and WebSocket technology to establish connections, thus bypassing restrictions related to corporate domain or IP addresses.
To ensure corporate data security, we provide the “Configurable members for long-connection integration” option. Administrators can manage permissions by themselves.
1. Company administrators can go to the WeCom Admin Console. Navigate to Management Tools → Smart Robot → Management page, where you will find the “API Mode Management” configuration option.
2. If you wish to allow members to create Long Connection Smart Robots on their own, select the members and grant authorization.
3. If you need to manage URL callback mode for Smart Robots, you can configure trusted domains or IPs.
1. When a member is not configured to use the Long Connection Robot, the member’s behavior is as follows:
2. Members are supported to request permissions from the company’s super admin. They simply need to click and fill out an approval form.
3. After the request, the administrator can view and process the approval.
4. Once approved, permissions will be automatically added for the member. Subsequently, the administrator can centrally manage these permissions in the Admin Console.
