User Guide

Thank you for using Hikvision CloudVisual Video, a video surveillance service Mini Program.
With Hikvision CloudVisual Video, you can easily view real-time and historical videos of shops, offices, sites, and other places.

I. Device Network Configuration and Binding

After the device is added in WeCom, the Mini Program “Hikvision CloudVisual Video” will appear in the Workspace. (If it does not appear, you can add it manually.)

Click to enter the Mini Program, and configure the network and bind the device.
1. Select device for network configuration: On the homepage of the Mini Program, click “Configure”, select the device for network configuration and binding, and then click “Bind” to enter the configuration page.
2. Prepare for network configuration: Connect your phone to a WiFi network. Ensure the device is powered on and the indicator light is flashing blue rapidly. Click “Next”. (If the light is not flashing, try resetting the device.)

3. Enter WiFi password: Enter the WiFi password and click “OK” to configure the device with the WiFi information.
4. Network configuration and binding successful: Wait for a moment, and both the app and the device will indicate whether the configuration was successful. If the configuration fails, please follow the instructions to repeat the process.

Notes:
1. Do not select a 5G WiFi network when configuring.
2. After successful network configuration and binding, if the device has a memory card inserted, initialize the storage medium before storing video recordings.

II. Preview and Playback

Once the video device is successfully configured and bound, you can click the “Video Card” on the homepage to access real-time preview and video playback.
1. Real-time preview: During real-time preview, you can pause, adjust the resolution, and maximize the screen.
2. Video playback: In video playback, you can select the recording date and time for playback. The green areas on the timeline indicate periods with recordings.

III. Device Management

Click the “…” on the homepage’s “Video Card” to enter the device management page.
1. Status bar:
View the device’s name, model, SN, and online/offline status.
2. Action bar:
Configure “Network Settings”, “Device Recording Settings”, “Image Flip”, and “Device Cover”.
Network Settings: You can change the device’s WiFi network.
Device Recording Settings: To store recordings, configure an SD card in the device.
Recording modes: Supports “Alarm Recording” and “Continuous Recording”. Alarm Recording: Stores only motion detection alarm clips.
Continuous Recording: Continuously stores all recordings. Recording storage will loop and overwrite based on SD card capacity.
Initialize SD Card: Supports SD card initialization (formatting).
Image Flip: If the video appears upside down due to installation, you can use this option to adjust the orientation.
Device Cover: You can refresh the cover image of the device homepage.

Tips:
1. To change the device name, update the remark name in WeCom under Device Management.
2. When using a storage card for the first time, you need to initialize it to enable recording storage.

IV. Team Management

The master admin can manage the team by selecting the “Team” tab at the top to set up sub-admins and transfer their role.
The change in the role will be communicated to relevant members via WeCom messages.

Sub-admin setup:
The master admin can specify up to 4 sub-admins from within the visible range.

Permission scope: Sub-admins can perform real-time video preview, video playback, device management and other functions within the app.

V. FAQs

1. Who is the first master admin?
The WeCom admin who first associates with “Hikvision CloudVisual Video” automatically becomes the first master admin of the Mini Program.

2. How many devices can “Hikvision CloudVisual Video” manage?
“Hikvision CloudVisual Video” can manage up to 20 devices. Devices exceeding this limit cannot be managed or viewed. Devices are sorted in the order they are added to WeCom. If a device among the top 20 is removed, subsequent devices can fill the vacancy.

3. Who can use “Hikvision CloudVisual Video”?
The app is configured for 1 master admin and 4 sub-admins. Other members within the visible range who are not admins cannot use this app.

4. What devices can be used with “Hikvision CloudVisual Video”?
Devices are synchronized from Device Management in WeCom. Currently, only EZVIZ & WeCom co-branded cameras are supported.
