Anti-cheating management allows companies to centrally manage measures to prevent cheating, such as preventing employees from using multiple devices for punch or having others punch on their behalf.
Admins/app owner can go to “Workspace” -> “Attendance” -> “Management” -> “Anti-Cheat Management”.
Super admins can limit the number of punch devices for members to 1, 2, or 3. This effectively prevents employees from using multiple devices for punch or having others punch for them. If a member’s original device quantity exceeds the limit, they will need to unbind the excess devices when punch.
When the number of frequently used devices is exceeded, you can set options such as taking a photo for punch, restricting punch, or only recording device exceptions. Punch with an infrequently used device will be recorded as “device exception”, which can be viewed in the cheating records.
In the “Prevent punch from multiple devices” section, you can also view “Members’ Frequently Used Equipment Management”. Super admins can view all punch rules, and the app owner can view and unbind the frequently used devices of members subject to the created punch rules.
Members can apply to unbind frequently used devices, and the application will be automatically processed by the creator of the punch rule. If the creator has left the company, the application will be forwarded to the super admin. If there are multiple super admins, one of them can be selected for the application. If a member is restricted from viewing everyone, the application will be automatically sent to the creator of the company.
Notes:
(1) If there are multiple super admins, members can choose one of them to submit the unbinding request. If a member is restricted from viewing all people/restricted from viewing all super admins, it will prompt “Failed to select an admin”. To change the frequently used device, it is recommended to consistently use the new device for punch, and the system will recognize it and prompt you to rebind that device as the frequently used device.
(2) If the creator of the punch rules is not the Punch app admin, and does not have the permission for punch-in/out management, the member requesting unbinding will see the super admins instead of the punch rule creator.
Path: “Workspace” -> “Attendance” -> “Punch Settings” -> “Frequently Used Punch Devices” -> “Request Unbinding”
Face recognition must be enabled in the punch rules. Once it is enabled, members will be required to perform face recognition for each punch. Face enrollment ensures uniqueness and effectively prevents punch for others.
Four methods are available to prevent location-based cheating: restrict virtual location, punch via photo taking, punch via Wi-Fi, and punch via attendance recorder.
(1) Restrict virtual location: The use of virtual location software can be identified, and then “Allow punch. Recorded as location exception” or “Restrict punch” can be set.(Update the WeCom version to 4.1.26 or later to use this feature)
Note: The function of recognizing virtual locations requires members to have set attendance policy, and it will only take effect if an attendance location has been added in the attendance policy.
After “Recognizing Virtual Locations” is enabled, if “Allow Attendance and Record as Location Exception” is set, then going-out attendance/clock-in/-out will be recorded as location exceptions; if “Do Not Clock In/Out” is set, clock-in/-out will be prohibited effectively, but going out attendance will only be recorded as a location exception and will not be prohibited effectively.
(2) Punch via photo taking: If it is set, members are required to take a photo for each punch, with the location and time watermark displayed.
(3) Punch via Wi-Fi: Members are required to connect to the workplace’s Wi-Fi network to punch.
(4) Punch via attendance recorder: Attendance recorders feature high precision and accuracy of location tracking.
