Background
If your company has multiple distributors, suppliers, and subsidiaries, or if a government agency has many companies under its administration, a partner space with 100 to 100,000 companies needs to be created.
It is recommended to invite subordinate companies to a partner space by importing data via Excel or API.
Benefits
1. Batch import can trigger a WeChat service notification for invitation.
2. Information of companies and members in the partner space Contacts matches that in the intranet.
3. “Only imported companies can join” can be enabled to avoid invitation link leakage and restrict irrelevant companies from joining, thus ensuring a high-level security.
4. After data import, a combination of methods including link, QR code, group migration, and invitation can be used to expedite the invitation process.
Notes
1. Company identity is required for joining a partner space.
(1) If no company identity is available, complete the information during the joining process and create a company identity.
Imported company and member information will be used as a reference and suggestion for the joining of imported users.
(2) If there is more than one identity, select one for joining a partner space.
2. If multiple members of an imported company join a partner space, one of them must confirm first and then invite others to the space.
(1) If the company has been created, the admin confirms first.
(2) If the company is not created, the company creator confirms first.
We will try to guide users to join a partner space with the imported group, company, and organization structure.
In this case, the name of the imported company and the company a user joins may be different, and the number of users in the imported company and users who join the partner space may be different.

Data purpose
1. “Mobile No.” is used to receive WeChat service notifications.
2. “Company name” is used to match subordinate companies and used as the default name of a new company.
（1） If it is the same as the full name/short name of the subordinate company a in the partner space Contacts, people who are imported this time can only join the partner space with the identity of company a (consent of the company super admin is required).
（2） If it is the same as the full name/short name of company b which the imported person 1 is in, contact 1 can only join the partner space with the identity of company b.
（3） Otherwise, the imported contacts can choose the WeCom identity for joining the partner space.
- In this case, names of companies that are not imported may appear in the partner space Contacts, which can be identified with custom company ID.
- If the imported contact 2 has no WeCom account, he/she will be guided to create a company and join the partner space. The default company name is the imported company name, which can be modified manually.
3. “Identity” is used to specify people with the permission to select the identity for joining the partner space when multiple people are imported from company a.
(1) In the 2.c above, we send the service notification only to the owner, who decides which identity is used for joining the partner space.
- There can be multiple owners, and the owner who joins the partner space first has the final say.
- The owner can select an existing company or create a company to join the partner space.
- After the owner joins the partner space, he/she needs to help members of the same company in the imported data confirm the joining of the company and the partner space.
(2) For example, company 1 is imported this time, including owner 1, owner 2, member 3, and member 4.
- If the name of company 1 is the same as that of company a in the partner space Contacts, the four imported people will join company a and the partner space. (The super admin of company a needs to tap “Agree” in the service notification.)
If the name of company 1 is the same as that of company b that owner 1 is in, owner 1 will receive a service notification and can only join the partner space with the identity of company b.
After owner 1 joins, a service notification will be sent to the super admin of company b, inviting owner 2, member 3, and member 4 to company b and the partner space.If the company name is not matched, a service notification will be sent to owner 1 and owner 2.
If owner 2 taps the service notification first to confirm joining of the partner space,
he/she also needs to confirm the joining of the internal Contacts and the partner space for owner 1, member 3, and member 4.
Fill-in suggestions
1. If each company has their unique ID in the internal system of the superior company, “custom company ID” can be filled in when members are imported to the partner space to identify subordinate companies in the partner space Contacts.
2. When there are multiple people in an imported subordinate company:
a. All company members, including the business manager, legal representative, and business owners, can be set as “Owner”.
b. Non-company members such as agent bookkeeper must be set as “Member”, who have no permission to select the identity for joining a partner space or create a company on behalf of the business manager.
API for query after import
The superior company in a partner space can get whether a subordinate company has joined via API.
1. Share a custom app in a partner space.
2. Import 1,000 subordinate companies and 2,000 people to the partner space Contacts via Excel, and enter the “custom company ID” for import.
3. If the information of company A can be obtained via this API, company A has joined the partner space.
