How to View Statistics on Contacting Students

I. Overview

Statistics on Contacting Students is a tool under Contact Students in WeCom (“Workspace” -> “Contact Students” -> “Statistics on Contact Students”), providing relevant data of company members in terms of “Add Students”, “Chat with Students” and “Student Churn”, so as to help companies analyze and assess members’ performances on contacting students.

Business owners and super admins can view statistics of members in their admin scope.

II. Statistics description

1. Add Customer

(1) New requests
① Definition

  • Any click of “Send Request” or “Send Adding Request” button by a member through any of the following channels is counted into the number of requests. The requests initiated from multiple channels to the same student are counted as one request. Search for Mobile Number
  • Add from WeChat contacts
  • Add by scanning QR code
  • Add from group chat
  • Add from shared/assigned students to me
  • Add by clicking the top button in IM when a student has been deleted or both parties have deleted each other
  • Add by clicking system prompt in IM when being deleted by a student
  • Add from new contacts recommended
  • Add from the list of followed parents in “Education Edition” -> “Contact Parents”

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
The requests initiated by multiple members selected are summed.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
The requests initiated on multiple calendar days selected are summed.

(2) New students
① Definition
The number of students newly added by a member.

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
The new students of multiple members selected are summed.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
The new students added on multiple calendar days selected are summed.

2. Chat with Students

(1) Total chats
① Definition
The number of private chats initiated by a member.

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
The private chats of multiple members selected are summed.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
The private chats on multiple calendar days selected are summed.

(2) Messages sent
① Definition
The total number of messages sent by a member in private chats

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
The messages sent by multiple members selected are summed.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
The messages sent on multiple calendar days selected are summed.

(3) Chats replied (%)
① Definition
The number of private chats where a member replies within one natural day after the student initiates the chat / the number of private chats initiated by students.

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
If m members are involved in a total of x student-initiated chats within a natural day, and reply to y chats on the same day, the chats replied (%) of these m members is y/x.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
If a member is involved in a total of x student-initiated chats within n natural days, and reply to y chats on the same day when the chat is initiated, the chats replied (%) of the member within n days is y/x.

(4) Average first reply duration
① Definition
The time interval between the initialization of a private chat by a student and the first reply by a member in a calendar day is the first reply duration. The total first reply duration of all private chats/the total number of private chats replied is the average first reply duration. If the student sends multiple messages after initiating the chat, the time of the first message sent shall prevail for the calculation of the time to first reply.

② Calculation method for multiple members/departments
If m members have replied a total of x chats in a natural day, and the sum time to first reply in this x chats is y, the average time to first reply of these m members in a natural day is y/x.

③ Calculation method for multiple calendar days
If a member has replied a total of x chats in n natural days, and the sum time to first reply in this x chats is y, the average time to first reply of the member in these n natural days is y/x.

3. Student Churn

Number of Students Who Deleted/Blacklisted Members
(1) Definition
The number of students who deleted or blacklisted members. More than one blacklist operation to a member by a student within a natural day is only counted as once. More than one deletion operation to a member by a student within a natural day is only counted as once.

(2) Calculation method for multiple members/departments
The number of students who deleted or blacklisted multiple members selected are summed.

(3) Calculation method for multiple calendar days
The number of students who deleted or blacklisted members on multiple calendar days selected are summed.
