I.What is Partner Space?
Partner Space is a cross-company collaboration solution launched by WeCom to meet the needs for management, communication, collaboration, and business chains between companies and between government and companies. It can better connect companies and their suppliers, distributors, platform merchants, and other business partners.
II.Application scenarios

- Companies manage dealers, distributors, agents, and franchisees;

1. Will I be charged for using Partner Space?
It is free of charge currently.
2. Do suppliers, distributors, and other partners have to download WeCom?
No. Companies in a partner space can use WeCom plug-ins directly in WeChat, but they may have to download the WeCom app to use more features and have better experiences. You only need to invite contacts of business partners to the partner space and the system will help them go through the process.
3. Why is “Partner Space” not displayed in my WeCom Workspace?
(1) “Partner Space” is currently unavailable to companies/organizations in education fields such as preschool education, primary and secondary education, and educational administrative institutions;
(2) If the company admin disables “Partner Space” in “Manage Company” -> “Workspace Display” -> Visible to Members”, members that have not joined any partner space cannot see “Partner Space” in their Workspace.
4. Difference between Partner Space, Company Connection, and Connected Companies
Differences between Partner Space and Company Connection:
(1) Partner Space is available to all companies except those with the industry types of “Preschool Education”, “Preliminary and Secondary Education”, “Educational Administrative Institutions “, and “Teams”.
Company Connection is currently not available for application.
(2) Partner Space allows members to join via invitation, while Company Connection can only be created/joined by admins.
(3). Partner Space allows a fragment of the Contacts to join (i.e., individual members), while Company Connection requires all members of the Contacts to join (the permission to view Contacts can be set for Company Connection).
(4) Partner Space supports Broadcast Messages and read receipts in private chats (the read status of messages).
(5) Partner Space supports member authorization for sharing third-party apps, while Company Connection only supports company-level authorization.
Partner Space offers a wider range of API capabilities, such as creating private or group chats using JS-API.
Differences between Partner Space and Connected Companies:
(1) Company verification is required for Connected Companies, while Partner Space has no such restriction.
(2) The permission to view Contacts cannot be set for connected companies, while the visibility between external companies can be set for partner space companies.
