(1) On mobile, tap the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner of the “Messages” page -> the “Settings” icon in the lower-right corner -> “Message Notifications” to enable “Notifications”.
(2) When you log into WeCom on PC, the “Always receive notifications on mobile” option must be enabled.
On mobile: On the Chats page, tap “三” in the upper-left corner -> “Settings” in the lower-right corner” -> “Message Notifications” -> “Get notified on mobile upon login on PC”.
On mobile: On the Chats page, tap “Logged in on Windows” -> “Get notified on mobile upon login on PC”.
(3) “Take a break” or “ Get off work” is enabled. You will not receive notifications in such status.
(4) Tap the hamburger icon in the upper-left corner of the “Messages” page -> the “Settings” icon in the lower-right corner -> “Message Notifications” -> to check if “Only receive special messages” is enabled. If it is enabled, only messages from members set with special alerts can be received.
(5) If your phone only vibrates for message notifications without any ringtone, you can enable sound alerts for new messages by tapping “三” in the upper-left corner of the Chats interface -> “Settings” in the lower-right corner -> “Message Notifications” -> “Sound” in WeCom app.
(6) Starting from v5.0.2, Android mobile phones support message notification troubleshooting to efficiently diagnose why notifications aren’t received.

(1) Enable “Allow notifications” for WeCom.
(2) Enable the Sound alert.
(3) Set the sound to “Unmute”.
(4) For Android systems, you need to check if a “silent” ringtone file has been selected in your device’s system sound settings -> “Notification tone”.
For iOS devices with a system version 17.2 or above, you need to go to the iOS phone system -> “Settings” -> “Sounds & Haptics” -> “Default Alert” to check if an alert ringtone has been selected.
(5) If you cannot receive message notifications on Android devices:
① Check whether “Set as Important” is enabled in “WeCom” -> “Allow notifications”.
② Check whether “Lock screen notifications” is enabled.
③ Set the rules for WeCom notifications to “Important” if notification filtering rules are set.
④ Check whether the network is available.
⑤ Check “Auto Start Settings” if you cannot receive notifications when WeCom is running in the background or not running, or your phone screen is locked. “Auto Start Settings” on Android is set as follows:

⑥. Please check if your phone’s power-saving mode is enabled. You can go to your phone’s system settings -> “App management” -> “WeCom” -> “Power Saving mode”, and set it to “Unrestricted”. Or in the system settings -> “Battery” -> “WeCom” -> “Launch settings”, enable “Run in background”, “Secondary launch”, and “Auto-launch”, and disable “Manage automatically”. (The specific steps may vary depending on your phone model)
(6) For iOS devices, the notifications can be viewed in “Settings” -> “WeCom” -> “Notifications”.
1.”Notifications” may be disabled.
2.If “Only receive special messages” is enabled, only messages from members set with message alerts will be received.
3.You will not receive notifications for new messages if “Take a break” is selected.
4.If there is no ringtone for notifications, you can enable sound alerts for new messages in “Settings” -> “Message Notifications”
5.When WeCom is in the foreground (i.e. the current app on your phone/PC), you will not receive message notifications or notification sounds.
Currently, WeCom does not support application capabilities on the Apple Watch. The WeCom notifications received on the watch are mirrored from the bound iPhone. If the bound iPhone has message notifications disabled, the Apple Watch will not receive message notifications.
