I. Set “Merge Muted Chats”

1.On mobile
Enter a chat, tap the three dots in the upper-right corner, and enable “Mute Notifications”.

2.On PC
Right-click a chat, and then click “Mute Notifications”.

II. Enable Collapsed Chats

On mobile, open a chat, tap the three dots in the upper-right corner -> “Mute Notifications” -> “Collapse this chat”. Once this option is enabled, the chat will be moved to the “Collapsed Chats” section. You can view the collapsed chats in “Collapsed Chats” on the Chats page.

On PC, open a chat, click the three dots in the upper right -> “Mute Notifications” -> “Collapse this chat”. Once this option is enabled, the chat will be moved to the “Collapsed Chats” section. You can view the collapsed chats in “Collapsed Chats” on the Chats page.

III. FAQs

1. Why can’t I see the option to collapse chats even after updating the version?
Close WeCom completely and reopening it to trigger the display.

2. Is there a limit to the number of chats that can be collapsed?
No limit.
