I. Purpose of a Company Domain Name

1. The company domain name is displayed on the company information page. The domain name provides additional information about your company and adds credibility for your company.
2. After a member verifies their email, a verified icon is displayed to increase the credibility of the email address.
3. The icon is available for companies that are not verified.

II. Bind a Company Domain Name

Step 1: Enter the company’s domain name, such as tencent.com or abc.com. Do not add www or http before the domain name.
Step 2: Log in to the admin console of the company’s corporate mailbox and create an email account based on the requirements of WeCom.
Step 3: After the account is created, click “Next”. We will send a verification email to the email address.
Step 4: After you receive the email, check the email content and click “Verify Domain Name” to bind the domain name.

III. Whether the email for domain verification will be changed

If the same domain name is entered for binding using the same admin account within the same company, the verified email will not change.

IV. Whether the same domain name can be bound with different companies

After a domain name is bound with Company A, it can continue to be bound with Company B.
