Wireless casting LB1805 - How to use

  1. Connect the device to the power supply, connect the HDMI cable to a monitor, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Wireless casting LB1805 - Connect to Internet

Press and hold the menu button and go to “Network Settings” -> “Network Connection”. You can select “Wi-Fi” or “Wired” and set a fixed IP address or link a MAC address. (The MAC address on the back of the device is the wired MAC address. To view the wireless MAC address, go to “About” -> “Product Information”.)

After the device is connected to the Internet, open the WeCom app, tap “Scan QR Code”, and then scan the QR code displayed on the monitor to link and use the device.

Member casting with linked device

Cast from phone: In the WeCom app, go to “Workspace” -> “Wireless Cast” and enter the cast code to start casting. Or use WeCom to scan the cast QR code displayed on the monitor, select “Cast from Phone”, enter the cast code displayed, and then tap “Start casting”.
Cast from PC: Download WeCom for PC first. Log in to WeCom, go to “Workspace” -> “Wireless Cast”, and then enter the cast code to start casting. Or log in to WeCom for PC, open the WeCom app, select “Scan QR Code”, scan the QR code displayed on the monitor, and then select “Cast from PC”. On your PC, enter the cast code, and then click “Start casting”.
(To ensure a better experience, it is recommended that you connect a laptop to a 5G office network.)
APKs cannot be installed for wireless casting boxes.
The screen casting code is refreshed every 5 minutes to ensure data security. It cannot be used repeatedly and becomes invalid after each screen casting session ends. The next person who wants to cast their screen will need to enter a new code.

How to cast
Cast from phone: Download the WeCom app first. Open the WeCom app, select “Scan QR code”, scan the QR code displayed on the monitor, and then select “Cast from Phone”. On your mobile, enter the cast code displayed and tap “Start casting”.
Cast from PC: Download WeCom for PC first. log in to WeCom for PC, open the WeCom app, select “Scan QR Code”, scan the QR code displayed on the monitor, and then select “Cast from PC”. On your PC, enter the cast code, and then click “Start casting”.

Wireless casting LB1805 - Cast audio

Audio casting is supported for Windows and macOS, and is not supported for iOS and Android.
Press and hold the menu button, go to “Settings” -> “Image & Audio” -> “Audio Output Format”, and then select “Decode”.
Select the loudspeaker icon to enable audio during casting.

FAQs

1. What should I do if the LB1805 wireless screen projection crashes during the process?
If a crash or freeze occurs during the wireless screen projection process on your phone or laptop, the projected image on the screen will return to the screen projection code page after 1 minute. You can also press the “Back” button on the wireless projection remote control and project your screen again.

2. Can one cast box be bound to multiple companies? Can one company bind multiple cast boxes?
(1) One cast box can only be bound to 1 company. If you want to bind a cast box to another company, you need to unbind it first. To unbind a cast box, admins can go to the mobile app -> “Workspace” -> “Manage Company” -> “Device Management”, select the device, and tap “Remove Device”.
(2) One company can bind numerous cast boxes.

3. Can wireless casting be used overseas?
No. English version is currently unavailable.

4. Requirements for bandwidth during casting:
(1) Upstream/downstream bandwidth: The average public network usage per user is 2-5 Mbps.
(2) In case of use of a casting code, the company’s outbound bandwidth usage during the transmission: no bandwidth used on a private network, and 2-5 Mbps used on a public network.

5. What can I do if casting fails (no response during casting) on Mac?
Go to “Settings” -> “System Preferences” -> “Security & Privacy” and grant screen recording permission to WeCom, and then try again.
