Using WX668 Access Control

The WX668 attendance recorder (with the latest firmware version) can be used in conjunction with an access control application for remote door opening.

Admins can set up access control devices, passage time, authorized personnel, and remote door opening staff through the following path on the mobile app: “Workbench” -> “Others” -> “Access Control” -> “Set Rules”. This allows them to restrict which individuals can pass through certain doors during specified times. If someone attempts to access without being on the list of authorized personnel, outside the specified time, or if there are no set rules for the access point, they will be prompted with an “insufficient permissions” message.

Personnel with remote door opening permissions can see the remote door opening option within the access control application. By clicking this option, they can open the door using the attendance recorder, and the action will be recorded as an attendance event.

In the WeCom admin console, go to “App Management” -> “Smart Devices”.
