1. For invited colleagues who haven’t installed WeCom on their mobiles, they must first download the app. Once downloaded, they can use their mobile number or personal WeChat to log in to WeCom and join the company. Download and installation can be done through the following ways:
(1) If you receive an invitation via WeChat service notifications or email, you can download it through the link in the invitation notification.
(2) Download and install it from the official website.
(3) You can search for WeCom on the App Store or in various Android app markets and download it.
2. If you have already installed WeCom, you can log in to it using the mobile number or personal WeChat account associated to your WeCom account and proceed to enter the company. If you have become a member of several companies, a list of all joined companies will appear when you log in to the WeCom mobile app, and you must select the corresponding company identity to enter.
If you have already logged in to WeCom, you can view the company/teams waiting to be joined by going to [mobile side message interface -> click the “≡” in the top left corner -> Settings in the bottom left corner -> Manage Companies], and then click on the company to enter.
3. After logging in to WeCom, if you cannot find the company, you can search for it by entering your mobile number or email address in [mobile side message interface -> click the “≡” in the top left corner -> Create/Join Company -> Join Other Company].
If you still cannot find the company, please verify whether the mobile number/WeChat account used during login matches the info in the company’s Contacts; consistency is required to log in to the corresponding company. You can contact the company administrator to view the mobile number/WeChat account associated to the account in [Admin Console-> Contacts].
Check the following:
(1)If an invitation cannot be sent, it is probably because multiple invitations have been sent to the same phone number. Only three invitations can be sent to a WeCom account per day, with a maximum number of 10 invitations per month. This includes invitations to join the company and invitations to parents for school notification follow-up via WeChat.
For example, if a member belongs to companies A, B, and C, and three invitations have been successfully sent in company A, invitations cannot be sent in companies B and C on the same day.
(2)Check if the admin sent an invitation to the member one or two days ago, or if the admin has enabled the auto invitation feature. If an automatic invitation has been sent, manual invitation by the admin will result in a failure.
Note: If auto invitation is enabled or a manual invitation is performed, the system will continue to send invitation notifications for three consecutive days.
(3)If the admin’s name contains marketing-related words, the invitation may fail. Please modify the name or ask another admin to send the invitation.
(4)For newly added members today, when they are added to the Contacts and the invitation option is automatically selected, there will be no record of this operation. If the admin sends an invitation manually, it will show as a failed invitation.
(5)Invitations cannot be sent to members who are already following the plugin.
