II. Other Problems

1.Differences Between IMAP and POP Protocols?

(1) When configuring the POP protocol on the client, emails in the Sent and Other folders on the web version are not synchronized to the client. POP allows the email client to download emails from the server, but actions taken in the email client (such as moving emails, marking as read, deleting emails, etc.) are not reflected back to the server.
(2) When configuring the IMAP protocol on the email client, it supports synchronizing the web version’s Inbox, Sent and Other folders to the client. Additionally, actions performed in the email client (such as moving emails, marking as read, deleting emails, etc.) are reflected back to the server, and the corresponding operations are performed on the emails on the server.

2.Server settings and account & password filled in correctly but the configuration failed?

Please check in the webmail interface under [Settings -> Sending/Receiving Settings] whether the IMAP/POP service protocols for the email client are enabled. If not, enable the service protocols, save the changes, and try again.
